David has more than 15 years of experience in astronomical image processing and data analysis. He has participated in the software pipeline to archive and process data for wide-area astronomical studies and has experience in the management and analysis of large data sets. He has a strong mathematical background and interest in machine learning algorithms.
Hobbies include sports such as running, cycling (and probably in the near future cross-country skiing), and
reading technical books.
